1. Overview

Cloudy CMS is a digital-signage player installed on display hardware owned and operated by businesses (“operators”). It plays media playlists assigned from the Cloudy CMS dashboard. The app has no end-user accounts and is not intended for personal use by individual consumers.

2. Data we collect

The app transmits the following to our servers (cloudy.14peakslab.com) over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection:

• Device identifiers — a device ID we generate when the device is linked, an authentication token, and an organization ID. These identify the signage device, not a person.
• Push notification token — a Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) token used solely to deliver control commands (e.g. sync content, set volume).
• Device technical data — platform type, screen dimensions, available storage used, installed content version, and push-delivery status.

We do not collect names, email addresses, location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data, financial information, or browsing history.

3. How we use data

Collected data is used only to operate the signage service: linking the device to an operator’s account, delivering the correct playlists, applying remote configuration (rotation, volume), and monitoring device health.

4. Sharing

We do not sell or share data with third parties for advertising or analytics. The FCM token is processed by Google solely to deliver push messages to the device, acting as our service provider. See Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

5. Data retention and deletion

Device data persists while the device is linked to an operator account. Unlinking the device removes its credentials and push token. To request deletion of device data, contact 14peakslab@gmail.com.

6. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication tokens are stored in the device’s app-private storage and are not exposed to other apps.

7. Children

The app is a business signage tool and is not directed at children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above reflects the latest revision.
