What counts as a 'screen'?
A device that has been linked to your account via the 4-digit pairing PIN, with status='linked'. Devices in PIN-pending state aren't billed.
Can I add more screens after signing up?
Yes. From the billing settings, click Add screens and pick a new total. Stripe pro-rates the addition immediately, and your renewal date stays the same.
What happens if I cancel?
Existing screens keep playing through the end of your current billing period. After that, devices show an upgrade message and the dashboard locks to billing only. Your content stays in storage — re-subscribe and everything resumes within ~1 minute.
What if my customer doesn't pay (distributor)?
Distributors can suspend an individual org from their dashboard. The org's screens immediately show 'Please contact your distributor' until reactivated.
Is there a free perpetual tier?
No — only the 14-day trial. Storage and bandwidth aren't free at our scale, and a permanent free tier subsidises non-customers at the expense of paying ones.
